The Utila Princess is the twice daily passenger ferry service between the Honduras mainland port of La Ceiba and Utila, The Bay Islands. Journey time is approximately one hour, depending on sea conditions. The Utila Princess Ferry service normally operates the route with Utila Princess IV, but will operate with the Utila Princess III if the Utila Princess IV is under maintenance, or if there are exceptionally large numbers of passengers (such as during Semana Santa [Easter Week], Sun Jam weekend, or Christmas Time) when both boats may be used. |

Monday - Sunday Depart Utila for La Ceiba: 6:20 am (arrives La Ceiba 7:20 am approx) Depart La Ceiba for Utila: 9:30 am (arrives Utila 10:30 am approx) Depart Utila for La Ceiba: 2:00 pm (arrives La Ceiba 3:00 pm approx) Depart La Ceiba for Utila: 4:00 pm (arrives Utila 5:00 pm approx) Reservations are not taken or necessary (unless you have a very large group) |

Children (under 5 years old) : Travel free if accompanied by an adult. Note (1): Prices as at 1-Jul-2011, but subject to change without notice (usually with changing fuel prices). Note (2): Fare includes transportation of 2 pieces of luggage in the hold, and carry-on cabin luggage. Additional luggage may be subject to cargo charges. Note (3): Passport, Identity Card or Honduras Residency Card is required to be shown when purchasing tickets. |

The ticket and main office is based at the Utila Municipal Dock. The La Ceiba ticket office is based at the "Muelle de Cabotaje", the main cargo port of La Ceiba. |
