Welcome to Utila Water Sports! We are a small family owned shop (one of only a few that are locally owned and the 3rd oldest here on the island) with experienced instructors and dive masters. We specialize in top quality scuba diving instruction through either PADI or SSI.

• Small Classes (maximum 5 students per class) Small groups enable more personal attention from the instructor to guarantee that the skills needed to dive safely and comfortably are not just achieved but mastered. During your 4 open water dives, small groups allow more time for diving as skills are completed in a shorter time than with larger groups.
• Best deal on the island We offer diver training with either PADI or SSI (with SSI you save an additional $25 per course as they don’t require the purchase of books). We are also the only shop on the island to include 2 free fun dives upon completion of your course makes your course price/value with Utila Water Sports unbeatable.
• Fast comfortable boats ‘The Manta’ is a 32' foot custom-built dive boat with a spacious rear sun deck. She allows easy deep water entry via 'James Bond' style backwards roll and as one of the fastest boats on the island ensures we have pick of Utila's numerous stunning dive sites. For larger groups, we use ‘The Overtime’ a 36' foot-custom built dive boats which also allows easy deep water entry via Giant Stride. Both boats have a comfortable roof deck perfect for sunbathing during surface intervals.

• Courses structured around student needs Learn in an unrushed atmosphere; take as much time to complete the course without accruing additional fees.
• Courses available in many languages The instruction is available in English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Danish, Italian, Flemish and German. We also have manuals and materials in many other languages: Hebrew, Japanese etc...
• Excellent equipment New Scuba Pro Glide Plus BCD’s with integrated weight systems in addition to various other equipment from Sherwood and Bare. We also own both Laguna Beach Resort and the Utila Aggressor which provides additional equipment as needed as well as a pool (perfect for confined water sessions).
• Air Conditioned class rooms Watch videos and study in comfort.
• Spacious grounds with Volleyball court Utila Water Sports organizes BBQ's and volleyball games in the evening to make your stay more fun. Numerous hammocks, swinging benches and private docks help to make your experience even more relaxing.
• Free snorkeling/kayaking trip Enjoy a snorkeling trip on one of our comfortable dive boats or explore the mangroves in one of our kayaks.

From the Utila Municipal Dock take a right onto the main street and walk for approximately 6 minutes. We are located on the left hand side of the road just past Seven Seas Restaurant.
