! Utila Cays Diving !

Utila Cays Diving is the closest dive operation to the north side of the island, based out of the beautiful, old-world, Utila Cays.

The Cays are a set of small islands only minutes from the SW side of Utila with a combined population of 400-500 people. The location of the islands and lack of sand means we can spend many evenings in our hammocks watching the stars without being bothered by sandflies!

We welcome you to spend your days diving the beautiful north side of the island, enjoy the sunrise/sunset in a hammock by the water or kayak all of the little islands that surround us, and relax at one of the local restaurants with the day's fresh fish catch and a Salva Vida (less than $2 here!)... Why would you ever want to leave?

Accomodations - Hotel Kayla

We offer several types of accommodations but our JEWEL, the historic Hotel Kayla, is the best value where your bed is only meters away from our beautiful reef and huge sunbathing dock! HOT water, new fans, full kitchen, en-suite bathrooms, and even rooms with A/C...all starting at $15/per person based on double accommodation!! Hotel Kayla is an oasis of serenity - see our website for more photos. We also service more upscale rental properties on the south shore, across from the cays.

Diving with Utila Cays Diving

Diving with Utila Cays Diving is a unique experience: no crowds (we cap the number of divers), all guides are PADI/SSI Instructors with years of experience in Utila, and we offer a full-valet service - this means you never have to set-up or rinse your own gear! We do it ALL for you so you have more time to enjoy your vacation!

Since the Utila Cays are close to the beautiful north side of Utila - it's our destination almost every time we leave the dock! Turtle Harbour Marine Reserve Area on the north side is where the Cayman trench meets the volcanic island of Utila - depths here are in thousands of feet! Turtle Harbour has a wide variety of diving - from shallow sand channels where the nurse sharks hang out, to the no-bottom wall at CJ's Drop-off or Duppy Waters... we won't repeat a dive site - unless our guests request it!

Come and see what the reefs looked like 100 years ago... Come and see what life in the Caribbean was like 100 years ago...
