The Utila Aggressor is a luxury liveaboard scuba diving boat operating out of Utila. The Utila Aggressor is a 100ft, (22ft beam) aluminum hulled yacht built in the USA in 1999, which underwent a major luxury refit and conversion to a live aboard scuba diving boat in September 2005. After being briefly chartered to survey Hurricane Katrina damage in the Gulf of Mexico, it began scuba diving vacation operations out of Utila in February 2006.
The Utila Aggressor is the only scuba diving live-aboard boat in Utila, and for that matter, the only liveaboard operating in the Bay Islands of Honduras. With a capacity for 14 guests and five crew the Utila Aggressor tours around 17 of the best dive sites in the Bay Islands of Cayos Cochinos (Hog Islands), Roatan and Utila stopping at various off-shore sea mounts or (fishing banks that only dived by Aggressor guests), in addition to best of the classic dive sites in the Bay Islands.
The Utila Aggressor offers a 7 day charter, Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning with five and one-half days of diving. Most guests make up to 5 dives a day. Diving begins on Sunday morning and finishes midday on Friday when we return to the port. |
