Built in 1982 and originally operated as an oil field supply vessel, the Prime Time is 135ft in length with a beam of 32 ft and displacement of 297 tonnes is now operated as a cargo vessel operating the route between La Ceiba, Honduras and Big Crick, Belize. Owned by Dr Bruce Wardlay and Captained by Nelson Johnson with his crew of 1st Mate, Chief Engineer, Cook and 2 Deck Hands, the Prime Time has a 400 tonne cargo capacity with a flat deck and roll-on/roll-off stern ramp. With a fuel capacity of 1,000 gals the Prime Time has adequate range to reach the southern USA. The Prime Time is available for charter and future plans are being considered to make regular journeys between Honduras and southern USA ports. |
