Utopia Dive Village

Utopia Dive Village is Utila’s newest all-inclusive scuba diving and luxury vacation resort.

The Village is set on three acres of jungle property on the south side of the island of Utila and has 450 feet of pristine beachfront. Accommodations include 8 king size rooms at 300 sq ft and 8 double full size rooms at 315 sq ft. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, private bathrooms with hot water, mini-refrigerator, wireless Internet, and comfortable high-end bedding. From the private balcony of every guest room, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean ocean set against the back-drop of the tallest mountain in Honduras, Pico Bonito, some 18 miles away across the ocean on the Honduras mainland.

Three natural pools and a hot tub are nestled in the courtyard with infinity edges, waterfalls and river rocks imported from the mainland. The smaller pools have shallow lounging spots and the larger pool provides deeper areas for swimming and dive training. The grounds offer jungle trails, hammocks and tiki palm shades at the beach, great snorkeling reefs, horseshoes, volleyball, and an outdoor grill, pizza oven, and fire pit area.

The full restaurant and bar offers fresh three course menu selections served at your table in an open-air dining atmosphere. No all-inclusive buffet lines here. Our organic garden provides all the herbs and vegetables for your meals. Enjoy the stunning sunsets at the outdoor “Dive Bar” or relax in the air conditioned “Library Lounge Bar” with a book, chess, backgammon, billiards, or satellite TV.

Our on site dive shop provides a private gear room with oversized lockers, restrooms and towel service. Guests can choose from both boat and unlimited shore dives with over 80 buoyed sites on the largest reef system in the Western Hemisphere. The south shore has some of the most technical multi-level wall dives right off Utopia’s beach.

The underwater photography studio can accommodate divers with their own gear or provide specialty classes and rentals of the latest digital underwater photo equipment.

Relax on the dive patio and share your experiences or rinse off at the outdoor showers and head back to your luxurious room.

Our spa provides massage, body wraps, skin-nourishing body soaks, and manicure and pedicure services either at the beach cabana with ocean views or in our tree house spa with the relaxing sounds of the jungle.
