Looking for unique accommodations in a unique spot in itself? The Harbor House Penthouse may be just the ticket! On the third floor of Harbor House on the Utila Cays, a tiny fishing village on two bridge-connected coral islets, The Penthouse is luxury, privacy and exclusivity, with all the modern conveniences you want, but still very much a part of the nautical, sometimes rustic environment surrounding it.

Your entry into The Penthouse takes you through a ship's door, up two flights, past a huge world map and a life-size rope-scaling pirate into a bright, breezy front room with its own bar, sofa, DVD-fitted TV, and an expansive deck with rail-side seating and an incredible view of Utila's South Shore. You'll find a deluxe bathroom with shower, and a fully-equipped, modern gourmet kitchen, with full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender, food processor and every utensil and cooking accessory you'll need. Into the huge air-conditioned bedroom, and its king size bed, plenty of closet space, computer work area, and more views across the Cays from three sides.

Your island Penthouse retreat is only twenty minutes from Utila Town by BOAT ACCESS ONLY. Watch freight boats being unloaded (by hand, as it's always been), see the fishing dories set out each morning and return in the afternoon, maybe with the fish you'll have for dinner.

The Utila Cays are a collection of tiny islets located off the southwest corner of the main island of Utila. There is one main path that leads through this tiny historical fishing village including two islets Pigeon Cay and Jewel Cay. These cays are extremely laid back and generally quiet, with just a few grocery stores, bars, restaurants and shops and churches. Though on Saturday nights the disco gets thumping and the dance floor comes alive. Visitors are welcome, just be respectful of the locals of course. Water enthusiasts can find activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, flats and deep sea fishing and a day boat trip to Water Cay, a white sandy island with shallow reef. A list of things to do and places to see are provided by the owner in your suite.

If you're looking for quiet, privacy, and relaxation with the conveniences of modern life, look to The Penthouse at Harbor House on the Utila Cays.
